CHERYL TROXEL BIOGRAPHY REVIEWS STATEMENT
ARTIST'S STATEMENT
When you face an unrecognizable image, one must allow your mind to explore the alternatives. Are there images that materialize, or is it an overpowering feeling with no image attached? This is the foundation from which I work. I want to explore the imagination without revealing the real intent…my motives are there, but how others interpret them is up to the viewer. Each one is a snapshot of a moment, of a feeling, a window in a personal reality that can be shared or interpreted in a thousand other ways.
