BRANTLEY ELLZEY  BIOGRAPHY   STATEMENT   RESUME   ARCHIVE

 

Brantley Ellzey, a native of Osceola, Arkansas, is a graduate of Tulane University where he earned a Master’s Degree in Architecture and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater.  In addition to making art, Mr. Ellzey maintains an independent design practice, Brantley Ellzey Design, in Memphis, TN.  His work has been published extensively, including a profile in L’Arca Magazine and the recently published book “The New Bungalow Kitchen,” and has garnered numerous awards including the American Institute of Architects Honor Award and the Eugene Potente Liturgical Design Award.     

 

Mr. Ellzey’s art is in numerous private and corporate collections including Wunderlich Securities, Medtronic and National Safety Associates.  “Performance in Wood,” a recently completed commission, is featured prominently in the lobby of the new HOK-designed Gunlocke furniture showroom in Los Angeles.
